Gina Ramey is a natural light photographer known for her evocative, romantic imagery that succinctly captures the emotion and sweetness of life. “For me photography is an intuitive process with the goal of preserving the feelings and moments that tell your story," says Gina.

 

Based in Lexington, N.C., she photographs clients and families in her studio or in natural landscape settings where she can paint with light and lens.  Ansel Adams said, “You don't make a photograph just with a camera.  You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved." Gina brings her kindness, grace and life experience into each photograph she takes. Her fascination with combining vintage camera lenses with modern equipment imparts a dreamy old soul elegance to her work. ​

Gina’s Carolina roots run deep, with her family calling the landscape of North Carolina home for nine generations. Through times of hardship and great joy, Gina photographs structures, barns and historic houses scattered across the backroads of small N.C. towns.
